Live tracking of every conversation online and on social media involving your brand, product, organisation or name.
The internet is talking about you.
We are listening.
We follow every conversation online and on social media about your brand, your product, your organisation or you personally as it happens - and turn it into reports that mean something and can be measured.
Free Perception ReportHow It Works
We measure meaning, not volume
Standard monitoring tools count how often a word appears. The semantic layer we use also resolves the meaning around it: is your brand mentioned in praise, in complaint, or purely as information?
Results are classified as positive, negative and neutral, with change over time plotted on a graph. So instead of "we were talked about a lot this month" you can say "this is the direction our perception moved this month".
- Metric-based monitoring - patterns and context, not just words
- Automatic positive / negative / neutral classification
- The wider web, social media, forums and review sites together
- Period-on-period comparison and archive access
Scope
What do we report on?
Modules that can be switched on individually or as a whole, depending on what you need.
Measurement of which way general perception of your brand moved over a period you choose, presented with a word cloud.
Tracking conversations about your competitors too: which product is being discussed more and why, which campaign landed better?
During a crisis, content within that specific frame is followed in a separate stream, with instant alerts to the relevant team.
Customer relations managed from one panel, with each department receiving only the alerts that concern them.
What your campaign spend bought: was the advertising well received, and which way did perception move on quality, price and brand?
How fast video and content spread, viewing results and analysis of incoming comments by content.
Beyond field research: collective analysis of every opinion that left a trace on social, and how it shifted over time.
Alongside automatic classification, your team can label data by hand and re-run the reports.
Condensed summary reports for decision makers, in a format agreed with you.
Perception Analysis
What words is your brand associated with?
We present general perception through a word cloud. The prominent words are the concepts most often linked to your brand; negative ones are marked in a separate colour.

From data to SWOT
We do not leave the data we gather as a report. We set your strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats into a strategic frame, backed by the social data.
Strengths
The positive qualities that keep surfacing in conversation - this is where you see what to emphasise most in your communication.
Weaknesses
Recurring complaint themes. Problems that look isolated one by one but form a pattern when viewed together.
Opportunities
Unmet expectations and areas where competitors are weak; the signals that point to where you can grow.
Threats
Rising negative trends and competitor moves. Seen early, they can be managed before they become a crisis.
FAQ
Questions we get asked
Do you only track keywords?
No. The system works on metrics, capturing not just where a word appears but the meaning around it. Tracking a product name, for example, we can report patterns such as "loved it", "regretted it" and "would not recommend" separately. What gets measured is not how often you are discussed but how.
What is a theme and how is it set?
A theme is a keyword group built around your brand, your company, a product or a person. It can be a single word, or dozens of words and patterns combined so the brand is tracked accurately. The point is to keep unrelated subjects with similar names out of the report.
What happens during a crisis?
In a crisis a dedicated watch is opened for that specific situation. When negative content passes a set threshold an instant alert goes to the relevant team, and a separate reporting stream runs for the duration. You see the picture clearly at the moment time matters most.
Can I track competitors too?
Yes. Competing brands in the same market are tracked as separate themes. You can see side by side which product is being discussed more and why, which campaign earned more engagement, and why a competitor came to the fore in a given period.
Who receives the reports, and how?
Simplified executive summaries are prepared for management, and filtered alerts covering only their own subjects for the relevant departments. Format and frequency are agreed with you, and a bespoke template can be created on request.
Can I reach historical data?
Yes. Through the archive you can look back at conversation data, shifts in perception and campaign performance from earlier periods. It is the most reliable way to compare the before and after of a campaign.
